Andrea De Antoni
憑依の生存学
これまで、現代日本における死や魔界（主に地獄）へ繋がる場所を対象とし、アイデンティティと記憶の構築過程を研究してきた。「伝統」と記憶、社会的差別、場所の観光化と観光客の体験や身体的知覚等に注目しながら、恐山、立山、箱根、京都市六原地区、大阪市平野区で調査を行ってきた。さらに、現代京都における「心霊スポット」を訪れるツアーに着目し、実践上での身体・感覚と環境との相互作用により、幽霊と関わる体験がいかに構築されるかを分析してきた。
現在、現代日本とヨーロッパにおける代替医療、多元的医療、「民間」や「伝統的」医療、スピリチュアリティを、精霊と関わる体験や憑依を軸に「近代的」医療との関係から捉え直すことにより、現代社会における生存のあり方を考察している。2014年に、後期資本主義社会における憑依と除霊（祓い、悪魔祓い等）を中心とする「宗教医療」に関わる体験や実践を研究し始め、日本、イタリアとオーストリアを事例として、制度化されている「近代的」医学と「宗教的」医療との関係についてフィールドワークを行ってきた。知覚・感覚・情動（アフェクト）の間主体性に着目し、憑依される体験・感覚とは何かを、「憑依」から「治癒」までの患者の体験を考察しながら比較研究を行っている。
