How to Use Our Library

Institute of Ars Vivendi has a library which houses documents and journals specifically related to Ars Vivendi discipline (Soshikan 4F, Kinugasa Campus, Ritsumeikan University). The members for Institute of Ars Vivendi and the graduate students can borrow our books (except “for reference only”). The other visitors can read our documents in the library. We have various important documents specifically related to sociology and disability studies. We welcome visitors.

Our Library Hours

From 10:00am to 5:00pm, from Monday to Friday

*The library is closed on National Holidays, Ritsumeikan Holidays, during Summer Break, and Winter Break

*In principle, the library does not reserve our documents for visitors. However, if you like to check whether the documents you are looking for are on stack, call us at the following phone number during the opening hours.

Loan Periods (For Ritsumeikan faculty and graduate students)

We do not have fixed loan periods, however, if somebody recalls documents, please return them as soon as possible.
