Those who seek these services should contact the administrative office of the Research Center for Ars Vivendi by July 15 (Wed.).</p> <h2>Event Overview</h2> <p>In this event we examine the practical possibility of decision-making support from a case study in the Netherlands which have received a lot of attention through the new Services and Supports for Persons with Disabilities Act and additional resolution for revision of the Mental Health and Welfare Law etc. In particular, we invite Ms. Jolijn Santegoeds, who is co-chair of World Network of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry (WNUSP), Mr. Yoshikazu Ikehara, a lawyer dealing with human rights issue of people with disabilities and Mr. Akihiko Sekiguchi, Japan National Group of Mental Disabled People and host a seminar, “Decision Support for People with Psychosocial Disabilities: Practices of Self-help in the Netherlands”. Ms. Jolijn lectures both about the trend of decision-making support in the Netherlands and about family group conference, the practice of it. Mr. Ikehara explains the latest trend over legal capacity and decision-making.
