Event Overview

International Seminar of Narrative Psychology and Education (2):Methods of Multicultural Communication for Children and Youth

This is the second international seminar of narrative psychology and education. In the first seminar we focused on the theme of “skills for bullying prevention” and considered concrete support methodologies in educational settings. In this seminar we consider “bullying” issues deeply by putting the issues into the wide perspective of “multicultural communication methodology” and relating them to more various aspects.

In part I Professor Dagmar Strohmeier of University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria lectures on “bullying in multicultural schools.” Commentary and comment to the lecture is provided by Prof. Yuichi Toda of Osaka University of Education, who is the leading expert of bullying research in Japan and has held international collaborative research with him.
